Secuencias. Revista de Historia del Cine is devoted to film studies, with special attention to historiography. Secuencias is an academic and indexed publication. Its pages aim to reflect the
expansion that film studies are experiencing in the national and international arena. For this reason, it is open to the contributions of Spanish and foreign researchers from different profiles and generations, particularly the work of the youngest.
Secuencias has been published since 1994 and publishes two issues a year. Since 2010, the
journal has incorporated a double-blind peer review, so that all published research articles
have been evaluated by anonymous specialists outside the editorial staff. As of issue 41, Secuencias is published exclusively online.
