The pedagogical museums: the initiative of the university school of teacher training of the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Abstract

In the last years a movement of appreciation and recuperation of the old school books is beginning to develop, analysing profoundly their contents and formal aspects. In the same way specific studies about de material culture of the same school are being carried out. Starting from this realilty many book and old school equipment exhibitions have been set with the purpose of lasting a long time. This has been achieved only partially in very specific cases. In this article the given steps to date are put forward by his author in order to get a stable and permanent stock of books as the beginning of the creation of a pedagogical museum in the "Escuela Universitaria de Formación del Profesorado de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid".
