Abstract
This issue of the International Journal of Education for Social Justice (RIEJS) devotes its thematic section to the teaching of experimental sciences and mathematics for Social Justice. In this way, both experimental and mathematical sciences are considered as school disciplines in which the success or failure of students has a great impact on their academic and professional future. These are subjects that should constitute knowledge that empowers students, future citizens with critical capacity, and is not, on the contrary, knowledge that allows elites to continue exercising their power, defending their privileges (Young, 2008).Downloads
