Abstract

The present situation of the Art area in the syllabus design of Infant and Primary Edycation is mentioned. The LOGSE frames the different areas por Primary Edycation, being Art one of them, This includes Music, Art and Craft and Drama.

The New National Syllabus involved the establishement of new specialis studies fot Primary Education in the Teacher Training Colleges (Music, Physucak Education, Foreing language, Special Needs, Primary Education and Infatn Education) Art was not established as one, It would be of an utmost importance fot the Spanish Eduation System that the studies of Art were established as a special branch in the Teacher Training Colleges. This would articulate the pre-service and in-service training of teachers in Primary Education, Secondary Education and the artistic specialist studies in Secondary Education.
