Abstract

We dedicate this volume number 6, number 1 of the International Journal of Education for Social Justice to "Architecture and Education for Social Justice".
What areas are addressed with Architecture and Education for Social Justice? Let's reflect on the meaning of the words: "architecture", "education" and "childhood". Now let's combine them in order and varied proportion, in projects with very different objectives and contexts throughout the planet. In this way, we will obtain the work of dozens of professionals in architecture, pedagogy and children solving day-to-day problems, embarked on personal and collective learning trips that build identity and inclusion spaces. Architecture is the art of creating the "place" of the self, you, them and everyone. Remember that it was Amos Comenius himself in his didactic magna who spoke of the educational space as "place".
