Abstract
The thematic section of this edition was convened by the need to think about the relationship between education, democracy and social justice in Latin America. As the call said, Latin American societies share some structural problems of a social and political nature that show the fragility of democratic systems, the economic dependence and consequently deficit exercises of our political sovereignty, economic and cultural.
