Reflexiones sobre la Educación para la Ciudadanía en la República Argentina. Una Perspectiva Comparada

Resumen
El concepto y rol de ciudadano ha estado ligado a la creación y estabilidad de los Estados Nacionales democráticos. Un elemento clave en dicho proceso ha sido la capacidad de los Estados de socializar políticamente a los jóvenes a través de sistemas educativos masificados. A través del análisis de textos y desde una mirada comparada, este artículo analiza cómo el sistema educativo argentino prepara cívicamente a las futuras generaciones y descubre las dificultades y desafíos que el mismo enfrenta en el proceso de formación de una ciudadanía capaz de participar en una sociedad democrática, plural y justa en un mundo globalizado.
