¿Lógica trivalente aimara? Análisis de una teoría sobre razonamiento no occidental

Abstract

In 1982, Guzman de Rojas published an article on Aymara people's reasoning in which he concluded that they reason according a trivalent formal logic system. The "Aymara trivalent logic" has gained some fame in academic and popular forums, but it has not been tested or challenged in its main points. This article discusses that thesis and questions its conclusions, while reflecting on this kind of studies.
