Abstract
In this paper we analyze the discursive strategies of legislators of Unión por Córdoba, produced during the debate of the 9182 Act of trial by jury in 2004 (Cordoba, Argentina). In this analysis we test the productivity of a theoretical and methodological perspective that combines discourse analysis tools with a sociological approach (Costa & Mozejko, 2005, 2009). From this frame we aim to understand and explain the relationship between the discourses and their social conditions of production. The analysis made us specially reflect on the particularities of parliamentary discourse. And finally, this work is a contribution to the reflection on the production of laws, from the study of this particular criminal law.
Keywords: competence, discursive strategies, management, parliamentary discourse, place, social agent.
