Las dos Sirias» y la mujer refugiada en Jordania: contextualizando la desigualdad de género en las esferas pública y privada

Resumen

El propósito de este artículo es describir las condiciones políticas, económicas y sociales de la comunidad siria refugiada en Jordania, haciendo hincapié en el acceso a la educación y en el trabajo de la mujer siria en los campos de refugiados y fuera de estos. A lo largo del estudio, se tiene en cuenta la marginalización e inclusión de las mujeres en las esferas pública y privada, atendiendo a la situación económica y a las medidas de integración en el país de acogida y en la actitud social que existe hacia la mujer en la comunidad siria refugiada. Esta investigación, de carácter sociológico y de género, busca explorar la relación entre las prácticas culturales tradicionales y la individualidad de una población femenina refugiada que ha experimentado cierto retroceso en sus libertades y derechos.
