Abstract
Latin American Relations with the Middle East. Foreign Policy in Times of Crisis, by Marta Tawil Kuri and Elodie Brun (ed.), is a valuable contribution to the field of international studies from Latin America, as well as to global academic circles. This volume presents an analytical framework based on the analysis of the changes and continuities experienced in the development of ten Latin American and Caribbean countries’ foreign policies towards the Middle East. Relying on a common conceptual framework, each author examines the participation of different governmental and non-governmental actors, their decision-making processes, and the different levels of approaching political, economic and security matters.
