Mujer y Educación en la Unión Europea

Abstract

La autora nos brinda una breve introducción al concepto de la moderna investigación sociológica y comparada sobre el tema de la igualdad de oportunidades en educación, nos proporciona datos interesantes sobre el acceso y permanencia de las mujeres europeas en los sistemas educativos y los resultados educativos de las mismas. De igual manera, nos menciona algunos de los beneficios de dichos logros académicos y las políticas actuales para el fomento de la igualdad de oportunidades en la educación. Muñoz-Repiso finaliza este artículo con unas reflexiones sobre el tema.

Woman and education at the European Union

The author offers a brief introduction to the concept of the modern sociological and compared investigation on the subject of equality of opportunities at education; she presents interesting data on the access and permanence of the European women in the educative systems and their obtained results. Additionally, she mentions some of the present benefits of these academic achievements and a view to the current policies for the promotion of the equality of opportunities at the education. Muñoz-Repiso finalizes this article with some reflections on the subject.
