Socio-emotional Competencies as Factor of Quality in Education

Abstract

In this article the quality education is defined as that one who assures all the young persons the acquisition of the knowledge, capacities, skills and attitudes necessary to prepare them to the adult life. In this respect, the term competition refers to the domain of a set of knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for the exercise of a professional role and of his corresponding functions, with certain quality and efficiency (Repetto, 2003); between these competencies, the socio-emotional are outlined, since the analysis of the literature emotional partner of the teenagers justifies the design of the strategies for the formation, as a way to improve the personal and educational quality. From the Educational Guidance one proposes the intervention by means of programs; concretely, there are exposed the principal characteristics and benefits that are obtained of the application of the program of Formation Emotional FOSOE for the personal quality of the students as well as to improve the quality of the educational centers.
