Abstract

The Ibero-American Research Network on School Change and Efficacy (RINACE) is a professional network of researchers from Latin America, Spain and Portugal working in the fields of Quality, Equity, Improvement and School Effectiveness. In the nine years since its creation, it has become one of the largest, most active and influential educational research networks in Latin America. Thus, at the time of writing these lines (July 2012) is composed of 800 researchers organized in 19 national networks. Among other activities, it publishes four prestigious educational research journals in the region, maintains an active distribution list, a complete web page and has collaborated in the organization of various international congresses. She is currently associated with the Center for Advanced University Studies of the Organization of Ibero-American States, which finances the publication of her journals.
