Dissemination of the Theoretical Perspectives of Learning in Managers Training

Abstract

This article aims to characterize the learning approach used by teachers in the teaching of professional formation subjects in the Management course from the Universidade Federal da Paraíba/Brazil. Adult education, self-directed learning and transformative theoretical perspectives were used to understand the phenomenon, whereas can create opportunities for reflection on the introduction of more effective teaching strategies more creative and innovative teaching in Management. The study uses a qualitative approach and was conducted with teachers in graduate course researched, through an in-depth interview. The results reveal issues about the role of teachers in student learning, the encouragement of critical and reflective practice, the maturity of the student and the student's emancipatory learning. Therefore, it is clear that there is a need to discuss the theoretical perspectives that will guide the students' learning and help the course of academic activities planning.
