Abstract

Educational research is, by nature and necessity, a collaborative activity. Only through the work of the team is it possible to produce the knowledge that allows us to understand and improve the social reality. This concept is not limited to the team of researchers who work day by day in a coordinated manner, it must extend to the research and educational community as a whole. If, at this time, it is difficult for an individual researcher to make significant contributions to the advancement of science, it is also necessary that the research teams do not work in isolation, but that they form scientific communities. In this way, one of the keys for educational research to improve education is undoubtedly that of research in research communities, and our natural framework of self-support is Ibero-America.
