Abstract
The paper reviews the way in which the deficiencies of the social and family environment of the students are combined with those of the schools, forming a perverse circle of inequity. The concepts of educational demand and supply are used as key concepts -computers of the set of analyzed aspects-. To show the relationship to which the objective alludes, data from the studies on learning outcomes and associated factors made by the National Institute for the Evaluation of Education (INEE) in 2005 and 2006, as well as indicators on material resources of the primary and secondary schools of the country, addressed in other studies of the Institute itself.Downloads
