Abstract

"School is a privileged environment to contribute to the transformation of society, through education we can achieve a more just, more equitable, freer and more fraternal world." We are convinced of this: reason and heart tell us".

With these words began its journey, now 10 years ago, the Ibero-American Magazine on Quality, Efficiency and Change in Education (REICE) (Murillo, 2003: 1). Today, as yesterday, we are still committed to a school where free, competent and committed citizens are trained to make our societies fairer, more inclusive and equal. Today as yesterday, it is the school with its teachers, with its directors, but mainly with their children and youth, the articulating axis of knowledge that - through research and reflection - we have tried to promote and disseminate from REICE.
