Equity in Education

Abstract

Lately we are observing the proliferation of terms in which educational quality is accompanied by ideas related to equity. Thus, expressions such as "Quality with equity" or the concept popularized by UNESCO: "Quality for all" are beginning to be extended. They want to reinforce the need for equity, and not just quality, to be part of the priorities in educational policy and action.
