Resumen

A partir de un ejemplo, desafortunado y trágico, el autor nos invita a reflexionar acerca de la responsabilidad moral que tenemos los educadores en conocer a nuestros alumnos. En la primaria, no es difícil que esto ocurra, pues el niño tiene una relación total con su maestro. Por lo contrario, el profesor de secundaria es un profesional especializado y, por lo general, su trabajo no se concentra en un solo establecimiento. Así las cosas, surge la pregunta: ¿quién se ocupa del adolescente en la secundaria? Desafortunadamente, la figura del tutor está en "peligro de extinción", ya sea porque no hay tiempo o porque los recursos son insuficientes. Termina este artículo con varios y muy profundos cuestionamientos que vale la pena no sólo leer sino ahondar en ellos e intentar encontrar soluciones

From an unfortunate and tragic example, the author invites us to think over the moral responsibility that educators have in knowing their pupils. In the primary school, it is not difficult that this can happen, since the child has a total relation with his or her teacher. On the other hand, the teacher of secondary school is a specialized professional and, in general, he works in several schools. Therefore, this question arises: who deals with teenagers in the middle school? Unfortunately, the figure of the tutor is on "danger of extinction"; this could be because of lack of time or because the resources are insufficient. This article finishes with several and very deep questions that are worth not only reading but going deeply into them and trying to find solutions
