Publication Policy and Preservation

Librosdelacorte.es is an online journal under OAI protocols that is published, among others, through the Institutional Repository of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Biblos-e Archivo. In addition, the journal is part of important repositories of scientific production such as Dialnet and DOAJ.

The journal has a fixed biannual publication periodicity (2 issues spring-summer/autumn-winter, appearing in June and December). However, it exceptionally publishes monographic issues responding to the need of covering specific scientific productions in the field of Humanities.

Furthermore develops various processes aimed at ensuring the permanent accessibility of the digital objects it hosts on its own servers:

- Backup copies.
- Monitoring of the technological environment to foresee possible migrations of obsolete formats or software.
- Digital preservation metadata.
- Use of DOI.

Librosdelacorte encourages authors to deposit in open access repositories federated in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), such as Zenodo, Dryad or the e-ScienceData repository of the Madroño Consortium, the complementary data associated with their publications. This includes materials such as tables, statistical data, databases or other resources that are not part of the original article, but may be useful to the academic community. These repositories assign a DOI to the datasets, guaranteeing their access, reuse and citation in scientific publications and other academic works.
