Abstract
In this paper we will approach the work of Pedro Garfias. His poetry, committed to his own feelings and his historical moment, was of capital importance in the heart of the ultraist movement, in the poetry of the Civil War and in the Republican exile. This approach to his work aims to delve into the study of his poetry, forgotten in Spain after the dictatorship, and participate in the recovery of his figure, which we consider key to understanding Spanish literature of the twentieth century
