Abstract
The aim of this article is to defend that the theory of evolution is falsifiable. Due to this, it is necessary to study first Popper’s reflections about the demarcation problem. Secondly, we will apply his thought to the avaiable empirical evidence, trying to find out if it is or not an accurate support for evolution, i.e, if this theory really offers how the changes on the different species should happen, chosing some states of affairs and rejecting others.
