Abstract
This article presents in the first place a brief reflection on the requirements of the theoretical renewal of our discipline and the historiographic update. The main issue of this text consists of a comparative approximation of the French and the Mexican high school systems, emphasizing their differences and coincidences as well as the evaluation of the underlying. We conclude with a final consideration about the experience and generosities of an academic program such as PAAS.
