The new virtual spaces in the teaching of linguistic and literary skills: design and functions of the school digital library

It reflects on how to effectively integrate the school library in the digital culture that is advocated for centers and classrooms. An analysis of the laws and educational curricula is carried out, as well as reports that diagnose the state of the question of school libraries, with their emphasis on linguistic and digital communication skills and matters related to Language, and then some possibilities that would allow the development of authentic digital school libraries, through new virtual spaces, possibilities that would have to be explored in practice, examining real cases and evaluating their results, so that model centers could be proposed to revitalize school libraries as nuclear elements of digital culture educational. Finally, as a conclusion, the general lines of a collaborative research project with several lines of work on the matter are presented, including the links with Future Classroom and Center Reading Plan.
