Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submitted article has never been published before nor sent to another journal. Its contents are original and unpublished.
- The format of the file sent is OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF.
- The submitted article suits bibliographic requirements indicated in the Style Manual, and is based on the Article Template of the journal.
- If your submissions is related to a peer reviewed section, please check that there's no personal data on the text or the document properties. The manuscript must also include an abstract in Spanish of between 300 and 500 words and an extended abstract in English of between 1000 and 1500 words.
- If you are submitting a Diálogos (review-essay), make sure that your analysis integrates a maximum of four books. If you are submitting a review, make sure the book is no more than two years old.

Those authors who publish in this journal accept the following terms:
- The authors will retain their copyright and guarantee the journal the right of first publication of their work, which will be simultaneously subject to the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivative 4.0 International License.
- The authors may adopt other non-exclusive licensing agreements for the distribution of the published version of the work (eg, deposit it in an institutional telematic file or publish it in a monographic volume) as long as the initial publication in this journal is cited.
- The authors are allowed and recommended to spread their work through the Internet (eg in institutional telematic files or on their website) before and during the submission process, which can produce interesting exchanges and increase the citations of the published work (See The effect of open access).
- The authors are responsible for obtaining the appropriate permissions to reproduce material (text, images or graphics) of other publications and to quote their origin correctly.
- Relaciones Internacionales does not charge the authors for the submission of manuscripts or its publication. This journal provides free and instant access to all content. It firmly believes that allowing free public access to academic investigation supports the open exchange of knowledge.
The published contents are under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivative 4.0 International license. Thus it allows reproduction, distribution and public presentation with the requirement that the author of the text and the source is properly cited in a note on the first page of the article, as demonstrated by the citation recommendation appearing in each article. Content is not for commercial use nor derivative works. The rights of the articles published belong to the authors or the publishing companies involved.
Privacy Statement
The names and e-mail addresses entered in this journal will be used exclusively to send an informative announcement whenever a new issue of the journal or other type of communications appears. In any case, these will always be non-profit. The contact information will not be available for any other purpose, or for other people or institutions.
In compliance with the provisions of the Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, about Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter LOPD) and the Royal Decree 1720/2007, of December 21, the International Relations Studies Group informs the visitors of this website that, in case of performing any procedure or consultation through this website, the user's personal data will be incorporated into an automated file owned by the International Relations Studies Group, and with the sole purpose of non-profit communications.
