Abstract
This paper will try to provide some considerations about our present crisis through the dialogue between the thoughts of Hans Blumenberg and Rene Girard. An understanding that leads to a genetic perspective, poses questions about the necessities that produce this change and the elements that come into play in history. However, the dialogue between them shows differences in their respective anthropological understandings. Divergences that open different possibilities in their interpretation of the current crisis, but that coincide in showing it as caused by a mythification of desire and a dissolution of the limits that contain its liberation.
