Abstract
The article offers a way of reading Nietzsche’s thought with the help of his depictions of Socrates. The latter will serve as a means to better understand how the genealogic task is developed, unveiling two angles from which it casts out: the diagnosis presented and its corresponding forecast. Basically, it is an attempt to describe the profound twist that Nietzsche’s critique signifies to the reader.
