Los triunfos andaluces: Un singular de la escultura barroca española

Abstract

This article is a systematic study on the "Triunfos" as peculiar works of art in the Andalusian sculpture throughout the baroque period. However, these monuments are not exclusive of Spain, but we can find several examples in Naples, Vienna or Munich. The "Triunfos" are mainly advocated to the Inmaculate Conception, to Saint Raphael or to the Saint devoted in each city.
