Abstract

Architectural images in so-call narrative cinema have been well studied. Motion pictures works as an excellent medium to cathc the meaning of visions on urban environment. However, relationships about politics, architecture, and documentary cinema makes up an unexplored realm. Documentary seems to be an objective system, but we are able to see the subtle links between the idiology and the ways of perform a building or a city as well as peform an collective universe of icons in the ind of citizens. Following article focuses political influences from dictatorial establishmen of General Franco on Spanish documentary productions in 940's and 1970's.
