Science Fiction have been an interesting laboratory to testing new ideas. One of those might be artificial beings: robots or droids. However, all of these icons have not been analysed enough. For instance, in the iconographical realm. We may find lots of these visual quotes not only in Literature but in moving pictures and contemporary art works. The following text focuses in a brief genealogy and also an approaching to the image of these artificial entities. Eventually, understanding of artificial subjects may help to throw light on difference between original and copies.
