Abstract
Boris Groys (Berlin, 1947) has become one of the most frequently cited proper names in recent years with regard to contemporary aesthetic practices, especially in their articulation with the Internet. In Becoming a Work of Art, in ten chapters, with the fluidity of essayistic prose and from a theoretical apparatus that uses authors such as Lacan, Mauss, Hegel, Kant, Kracauer, Benjamin, Barthes, Jünger, Loos, Debord, Merleau-Ponty , Foucault, Baudrillard and Sartre, the author reflects on the production of our public bodies as a collective process that exceeds individual will.
