Abstract

The main books written by Edward Said, Orientalism, y Culture and imperialism,  both define something named in this article as external side of the cultural imperialism. This vision is criticized because it does not pay attention to the internal side of the process. As a result, some dimensions of the culture, which are very important, are made invisible and natural. It is very important to reflect, precisely on these forgotten elements, in order to have a complete vision of the culture’s role. This would shed some light on revealing aspects of contemporary world.
