Resumen
Desde su independencia en 1956, Túnez ha apoyado una solución de dos Estados según las fronteras de la ONU de 1947 y ha respaldado al pueblo palestino. Esto no ha impedido el mantenimiento de relaciones políticas y económicas con Israel, mayormente tácitas, pragmáticas y fluctuantes según el contexto político. Del mismo modo, y a pesar de su apoyo oficial, las relaciones con las autoridades palestinas han estado condicionadas por las presiones árabes y del conflicto. Aunque el presidente Kais Saïed ha endurecido el discurso pro-palestino, no se observan cambios sustanciales en la posición tradicional de Túnez respecto a las partes.
