Abstract

In the present article we will deal with the origins of the Palestine Question and with the problem of the Palestinian refugees as it has been discussed by the Israeli so-called “new historians”. The “new historians” have been determinant actors in demolishing the myths created by Israel -and held also by Western countries- about the events surrounding the creation of the State of Israel and the 1948 war, and especially what has to do with the expulsion of the Palestinian inhabitants and how they were made on refugees.
