Resumen
Estudios previos destacan que las percepciones del alumnado sobre la práctica docente inciden en su proceso de aprendizaje. El objetivo de este estudio consiste en predecir el compromiso académico del alumnado universitario según sus percepciones sobre el clima motivacional y analizar el papel mediador de la satisfacción y motivación académica. En la investigación han participado 637 estudiantes de la Universidad de Extremadura y de la Universidad Cádiz a quienes se les han aplicado diversas escalas para evaluar las variables de la investigación. Para analizar los datos se ha utilizado un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales utilizando el método PLS-SEM. Los resultados señalan efectos positivos del clima motivacional hacia la maestría sobre la satisfacción, la motivación y el compromiso; de la satisfacción sobre la motivación y el compromiso y de la motivación sobre el compromiso académico. Asimismo, la satisfacción y la motivación median la asociación entre el clima motivacional hacia la maestría y el compromiso académico. Finalmente, mediante la validez predictiva del modelo, se determina que contiene un poder predictivo medio fuera de la muestra. Se proponen estrategias para que los docentes universitarios establezcan en la clase un clima motivacional hacia la maestría, mejorando así el aprendizaje del alumnado
