INTRODUCTION. Nowadays, the involvement of international organizations has transcended the sovereignty of nation-states, particularly in the field of education. As these organizations follow issues, they are subsequently considered in the countries' agendas. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to analyze the scientific production that deals with the study of supranational educational policies as well as to demonstrate that Supranational Education exists. METHOD. The literature about Supranational Policies in Education indexed in the Web of Science database was used for this bibliometric analysis. From the review process, 115 documents were selected. RESULTS. The data reflects that Supranational Education had increased over 2015. Likewise, it highlights that scientific productivity occurs mostly in European countries, and the networks of academics researching this topic are not related among them. DISCUSSION. Despite, Supranational politics has evolved as a field of study from conceptualizations to new challenges to face, there is a critical perspective that proposes to modify the methodologies and rethink how the supranational can rescue the particularities of the countries.
