Focus and Scope

Journal of Supranational Policies of Education is a publishing project of the Research Group on Supranational Education Policy (GIPES).

It's a project that has arisen out of the intention to circulate a scientific-academic journal, specializing in the field of supranational education policies. We believe that, as there is no specific journal in this field at the moment, this journal can fill this gap with relevant theoretical contribution and reliable quality. In this regard, the challenge for us, as a research group, is to offer the research community, education professionals and policy managers, a clearly specialized journal in the mentioned field.

The official headquarters of the journal are located in the Teacher Training and Education Faculty of the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Peer Review Process

All papers will be reviewed by external evaluators, according to strict criteria of scientific quality. The Editorial Board will take the final decision in light of the reports made by the assessors.

Publication Frequency

This journal will be published on a yearly basis, with the possibility of additional issues. In the Futures Issues section we will post the schedule of the following issues and the corresponding call for papers.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, under the principle that making research freely available to the public, supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
