Abstract
The present paper aims to show that the writings ab???-ru-(u)m and a2-bu-ru-(u)m, which are documented during the 3rd millennium only in the III Dynasty of Ur (c. 2100-2000 BC) and had previously been considered to be two different terms, are actually writings of the same word, aburrum, which can be translated as “pasture”.
