Abstract

This paper, which follows a line of research opened by Dr. Jiménez Zamudio in one of his works on Sumerian-Akkadian philology, aims to analyze the anthropological category of t?it?t?um (clay) in the three most significant poems that Mesopotamian literature has transmitted to us on this nature. At the same time, wants to verify how through the Biblical texts, and especially through the Latin texts and their commentators, this category has reached us and is still highly valued today.
