Abstract
The tree of life or cosmic tree is a recognized archetype whose attributes emphasize immortality, healing, knowledge and fertility. In the case of Iran, it goes beyond the limits of mythology until it reaches a shamanic, initiatory and ritual stage, embedded in the context of Avestic and Indo-Iranian migrations.
