Abstract

We frame this work in a context of initiatives directed, from different areas, to the recovery of the memory of those affected by traumatic processes and to claim the educational field as one of the promoters of said work. Thus, considering the Spanish transition as one of the most controversial processes in current history and the textbook as the most used educational resource in classrooms, we propose to analyze whether there is room for non-hegemonic memory (that of the so-called 'disenchanted' and that of those affected by the different political violence that occurred at the time, including that of a state nature) in two textbooks of 4th ESO.
