Citizenship Quarries: Luis Bello and his trips to schools in Spain
Abstract
Luis Bello belonged to those generations of writers, straddling between those of 98 and 14, who were concerned about the state of national prostration and inquired about its causes not to regret, but to remedy them. The school was one of his centers of interest as an instrument of regeneration and a guarantee of the future as a quarry for his sons and daughters, but also, at that time, as a reflection of the ills that were attacking the country and that needed urgent healing.
