Abstract
The elements that make up a door are very sensitive to environmental conditions, which makes it difficult to preserve them in their entirety and in good condition. For this reason, they have rarely been studied in detail. Based on archaeological finds in the Cordoba area, we propose to outline a typology of solutions for closing off rooms in the late 10th and early 11th centuries BC. Knowing the materials of the doors helps us to complement the information provided by the archaeological and architectural record, to delimit spaces and to interpret their use on the basis of the type of doors used.
