The goal of this congress is to stimulate the conversation between researchers using Corpus Linguistics for the study of Spanish. To this end, we will meet:
- to discuss the current status of Corpus linguistics; open debates will be organized in order to share different points of view
- to share new perspectives and approaches in the use of corpora
Abstracts should present original contributions to the study of Spanish with corpus, especially:
- Research projects
- Research results (of any level: Speech, Lexicon, Grammar, Phonetics / Phonology)
- Presentation/Demostration of resources and tools
Every presentation will have 20 minutes + 10 minutes for questions. Presentation/Demostration of resources and tools will have up to 40 minutes.
Abstracts must have a maximum length of 500 words, and must be anonymous in the case of research results. Authors of the accepted abstracts will be invited to submit an extended version (6 pages) for publication in a special issue of CHIMERA: Romance Corpora and Linguistic Studies.
Size of the posters must be a vertical A0 (841mm x 1189mm) or a vertical/horizontal A1 (594mm x 841mm).
Registration will be free.
