Abstract

Hermeneutic Philosophy finds a favourable field for its ethical development in the Philosophy of Law. The judge interpretatively understands the situation of the other, which demands a response of justice from its spiritual sense. This includes exploring possibilities of the base element of the hermeneutic thought – Gadamer’s text - beyond itself in the contentious legal case. From here, Ricoeur’s Hermeneutic Ethics is enlightening, although from a legal analysis which shows own developments that nourish the  hermeneutic thought.
