Abstract
The critical meaning of the memory of victims not only finds suitable expressions in a discussion of the modern vision of history. It is also pertinent to revise political concepts, in the same way modern, as equality. From a Latin American perspective, memory questions those discourses of equality that reproduce exclusion with regard to the conquest, the Independence’s revolutions and the recent transitions to democracy.
