Abstract

Charles Baudelaire´s references about fashion, gravity in the frivolous, (“gravité dans le frivole”) suggest a new awareness about it. Fashion as an artificial paradise with which to dress fashionably in modernity. Fashion as a modern attitude: as a way of thinking, feeling and acting in modernity. Ultimately, fashion as the eternal task that exudes from transitory, as a way of correspondence in the transfiguration of the commonplace.
