Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to bring the earlier philosophies of Wittgenstein closer to the countermovement against the metaphysical and epistemological assumptions of Modernity; comparing Wittgenstein's philosophy, in a way, with the philosophy of Hegel and Nietzsche. This paper is particularly focused on the Cartesian dualism problem -the distinction between the Self and the World- and it offers a reinterpretation of Wittgenstein's Tractatus where this distinction is assimilated and overcame.
