Abstract
The fundamental problem posed by Ricoeur is to see if there is an opposition between the hermeneutics of religious language, in regards to "Hermeneutics of proclamation of the word or kerygmatic", and "phenomenology (manifestation) of the sacred or symbolic of the sacred". In advancing Ricoeur's answer to that question, it is worth noting that the "phenomenology of the sacred" (symbol) of the "hermeneutic of the word" is the condition ‘lingüística’ of the latter. Such differentiation has important implications to the delineation of the religious field and that should now be clarified.
